Privacy Policy

Bellstrike (bellstrike.app) is a trading journal made by Kenpachi Trades (kenpachitrades.com). This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can do about it. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Your journal: everything you enter or import: trades, accounts, strategies, notes, journal entries, tags and chart screenshots.
• Broker connections: if you connect a broker (for example TopstepX through ProjectX), the login details it needs. They are encrypted on our server before they are stored and are only used to fetch your trades.
• Billing: your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
• Trial protection: a device identifier, a cookie and a bot check, used only to stop the free trial being claimed over and over.
• Technical logs: standard request logs from our hosting (such as IP address and browser), kept for security and debugging.

What we use it for

• To run the journal: store your data, sync it across your devices and build your reports.
• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To bill paid plans and manage your trial.
• To answer you when you contact us.

We don't use your trades to train AI models, and we don't share them with anyone except the services below.

Services that process data for us

• Supabase: database, sign-in and screenshot storage.
• Vercel: hosting.
• Stripe: payments.
• Google: "Sign in with Google", if you use it.
• Fingerprint and Cloudflare Turnstile: trial abuse and bot protection.
• ProjectX: only if you connect a broker account through it.
• Anthropic or OpenAI: only when you use the AI coach, which sends your question and a summary of your trading stats to the model to answer it.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what the app needs to work: sign-in session, your settings, offline cache, and the trial protection cookie. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

• Export: download your data from Settings at any time.
• Delete: wipe your journal from Settings, or ask us to delete your whole account.
• Access or correct: ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to fix it.

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete it, it is removed from our database, and copies in our hosting provider's backups expire on their normal schedule.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, every account can only read its own records, screenshots are kept in private storage, and broker credentials are encrypted. No system is perfect, so use a unique password.

Children

Bellstrike is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
